We have used Succeedin for over 4 years now and believe it to be an extremely useful tool for planning, delivering, monitoring and assessing PE in primary. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, with useful diagrams and videos attached.
There is clear progression throughout the lessons and through the year groups. Lessons can be adapted and modified by the user to suit individual groups and children. The pupil feedback is an extremely useful tool for grabbing important information, quickly and effectively.
The registers allow us to check participation in ASC and competitions and the assessment tools are extremely easy to use and allow me, as PE Lead to quickly monitor trends in classes and year groups.
We have a seen a vast improvement in teacher confidence when delivering PE, far higher levels of positive engagement amongst the pupils and a marked increase in the children's skill levels across a range of sports and activities.

Mere school have been using Succeedin for over a year now and have found the platform incredibly useful.
We took advantage of the mentor training offered within the package and the sessions proved highly successful in training both the PE lead and staff on the use of the platform. As a staff we have found navigating the different sections very easy and when difficulties have arisen Dave has been great at solving the problem very quickly.
Above all we have used the platform to successfully redesign our whole scheme of work. The staff are now competent at accessing the relevant schemes, plans and videos to support their teaching of PE. Dave was instrumental in the design of the scheme of work, ensuring that it was both skills based and progressive.
For 2021 we have made the decision to signed up for the 3 year ‘Beyond’ package and look forward to seeing how the other elements, like assessment, can support the teaching of PE at Mere School.
